Well after these 17 days to make a difference I've realized how good it feels to help others rather than doing the complete opposite.
The task was that room 11 and I had 17 days to make a difference to either our home, community or to the world and what virtues we'd used.
The purpose of this topic is to learn about not taking anything for granted and to notify what others have done for us rather than what we've done for them and to care and help more to make the world a better place. Also to be a good citizen to the community.
I felt happy about the 17 days to make a difference because even though it was hard to think of what to do I still hung in there because as the days went by I started to know how to help others more often.
I would rate myself a 10 in effort because throughout the 17 days I did give it all my effort to try and think on what I could do to help others, I am very happy that I succeeded.
Something I learnt about being a good citizen in 17 days to make a difference is that helping doesn't come in getting rewards, it always comes in doing the job for your own will because you'll feel even better even though you didn't get a reward.
If I repeated 17 days to make a difference something I'd change is to help the community more. Even though I helped at home a lot I would like to go out to different places and help others to brighten their day.
Somethings I've learnt is that I would take less things for granted more often because I now realize that a lot of people have helped me and I need to notify what good things they've done for me.
Lastly that even though my time is up I'm going to continue helping others more often and to be a good NZ citizen for the sake of my well being and making others feel happy and good! Well hope you enjoyed reading all my blogs for my 17 days to make a difference!
Cheers and Peace!
